It’s been a while…

Topic: General News

First of all… I apologize for the serious lapse in blog updates. I’ve been on the road a lot since returning from New Zealand, and between jumping on planes, driving 4000 miles, and tweeting, I’ve been a little busy. But I promise from here on out I’ll be keeping you guys up to date with training, racing, and living. Skitrax (skitrax.com) is going to be featuring my blog on their website as well, so you can read up on where I am and what I’m doing there soon (should be up and running within the next few weeks).

I’ve had some great opportunities these last few weeks to get in some good quality family time, girlfriend’s family time, and rest time. I’ve been down to my family’s ranch in southern Colorado, out to VT and Maine for a visit with old friends and my girlfriend’s sister’s wedding, and finally back here in Ketchum for out USST early fall training camp. The camp’s been going great, with the exception of me being under the weather for a few days. But feeling good again now, and ready to bust some caps this upcoming week. We’re doing a lot of high end intensity, which us sprinters always really enjoy (enjoy? maybe that’s the wrong word), and the conditions are great. Cold mornings, dry fall air, and smooth pavement. I’m planning on taking some pictures this week of some our workouts, so check back in if you’re interested. Until then, here are a few shots that Andy and Pete V. took capturing some of the things I’ve been up to since New Zealand.

Photo: Pete Vordenberg. Pete is probably the best photographer/videographer/lactate taker I know. No one triple tasks like this dude triple tasks

Photo: Newell. Yeah… that’s Alex Moore on my back. He used to play rugby professionally, now works as a head strength coordinator for the USST, and he weighs 230 lbs.
